There has been a craze of what are called "Silly Bands." These are rubber bracelets that when worn, they look like colorful average everyday rubberbands. That is, until you take them off. At that point, the bands take on specific shapes, i.e. letters, animals, beach themes, sports themes, and about a gazillion other themes. Kids collect the bracelets sometimes just for the sake of collecting and sometimes because they want a specific theme. Many children around us have hundreds of Silly Bands. Luckily for us, Abby and Molly like the bands, but they aren't head over heels over them and the amount you see on their arms is their entire collection. Side note: our girls do not wear all of their bracelets at the same time. They put them all on just for the pictures.
